About The Author Louisiana born, Ron Jolly’s passion for everything turkey began as a boy when his father taught him the do’s and don’ts of hunting wild turkeys. Since those early years he has traveled the country hunting, videoing and photographing them. He produced 20 feature turkey hunting videos from hunts in over 20 states. In 1988 Jolly became the producer for The Truth Video Series by Primos with credits for The Truth About Spring Turkey Hunting, Volumes 2-8. It was during those years Jolly first began sharing his turkey hunting passion, knowledge and expertise through writing.
